Each year I create a painting especially for Christmas and I use the original work to print cards for my family and friends. This year one of my favourite subjects has been the little fairy penguin and I have created several original watercolours. It seemed apt to have a Christmas version too so here is. En el portal de la noche que avecina tu rostro. Hacia este viento que asoma y repudia al silencio. Que el fuego traerá mas fuego. Y me engullo en la proximidad mas próxima. Tirana la sombra de esta pampa que, húmeda, me entrega tu figura. Y descalza, la propia muerte se apiada de nosotros. Mantengo entonces, la calma. Y ahogo el grito ante la helada brisa que decora.
